2006 Outback Steakhouse Wrestling Classic

The 2006 Outback Steakhouse Wrestling Classic will be held on December 8^th and 9^th , 2006 at North Myrtle Beach High School. Our tournament has become known as one of the premier tournaments in the south. We will have 24 teams from all areas of South Carolina other states represented in the field. The Outback Steakhouse will be our sponsor to help with the cost of the tournament, trophies, hospitality suite.

Contracts are included for your execution. We have several new participates this year and several that are considering our tournament.

Last years participants were: Stratford, Carolina Forest, Fort Dorchester, Cheraw, Lake City, Rosman N.C., Rural Retreat Va., West Ashley, Broome, Aynor, Mauldin, West Brunswick NC, Bluffton, Marion, Socastee, South Brunswick NC, Byrnes, Lake Taylor Va., Saint James, Sumter, Summersville, Dreher, Loris, and NMB. We have several new teams, from out-of -state that are coming and they will make the tournament tougher.

Friday’s weigh-ins will begin at 5:00 pm on 4 scales with wrestling starting at 6:00. Saturday’s weigh-ins will be at 8:00 am with wrestling at 9:00 am. This year’ tournament will be run on 6 mats, in order to speed up the tournament.

Only past state qualifiers will be seeded.
